Robbie is a Joint Managing Director with responsibility for the running of YoungsRPS. Having trained and worked in the South East managing Osford and Cambridge College Estates as well as a period on secondment to Audley End Estate, Robbie moved back north to Hexham to join J M Clark & Partners in 1986, where his father was Senior Partner.
Robbie formed Rural Property Services Ltd in 2000 and built up a successful business before becoming a Director in YoungsRPS on the merger in December 2012. Robbie has over 30 years property experience in the North East, both managing estates and undertaking a wide range of professional work including running a successful estate agency. He is an agent and valuer for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC) and a panel valuer for a number of lenders.
Outside work he manages a small family farm and enjoys gardening and spending time with family and an ever increasing hoard of grandchildren.

Graeme is one of the senior management team at YoungsRPS and heads the Alnwick office. Having trained as a resident agent at the Glamis Estate under Arthur Young he relocated to Newcastle in 1990.
In 2000 he became an Equity Partner and oversaw the opening of the Alnwick office in 2003 which he now heads up. Graeme's specialist areas include: compensation relating to utility damage, easements and wayleaves; negotiations for telecommunications installations and wind farm or other renewable energy projects; promoting and dealing with land development proposals such as options, promotion agreements and conditional contracts; general estate management and agricultural, residential and commercial tenancy negotiations.
Recent instructions include: The Alcan farms Portfolio Disposal; negotiating compensation for one of the largest fuel spillages and land contamination issues in the UK and conducting negotiations with developers on behalf of clients with land for potential inclusion in the Newcastle and Gateshead development plans.
Neil entered Estate Agency in the mid 70’s, after some years in the Merchant Navy, working for Renton and Renton in Ripon, Thirsk and Northallerton. He then joined Dacre, Son & Hartley and became Associate Director before forming Harmer Mortimer which was sold to Clark, Scott - Harden. He was then one of the founders of Stanton Mortimer in 2005 which has recently merged with Youngs RPS where he is responsible for residential agency in North Yorkshire. Neil’s hobbies include motorcycling and a passion for motor sport in general together with interests in rugby and football. He also has also sung in several bands and currently sings with a Rock Choir in Harrogate.

Charlie joined Youngs Chartered Surveyors in 2003, became a partner in 2008 and a Director of YoungsRPS in 2014.
The son of a Cumbrian farmer, he has worked as a Chartered Surveyor for almost 25 years and works in the Hexham office. His specialism is issues relating to Defra reform, grants and subsidies, environmental schemes, commoners’ rights and uplands conservation schemes.
He was instrumental in strengthening this side of the business through the formal association with Gill Mitchell in 2014. This move has put YoungsRPS to the fore in dealing with rural grant scheme disputes.
He is also an administrator for a number of complex group Higher Level Stewardship (HLS) and Higher Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme agreements.
An active member of the Northumbria and Cumbria branch of Central Association of Agricultural Valuers he is currently acting as Chairman of the Northern Group CAAV.
In his spare time he enjoys rowing, shooting and walking.

Michael is a Director with responsibility for the Newcastle office. He has 34 years post-qualification experience as a Commercial Property Surveyor and joined YoungsRPS from Stanton Mortimer when the two firms merged in 2017.
For 20 years Michael worked for Lamb & Edge (now merged with GVA) as professional services partner running a team responsible for all the firm’s valuation and landlord and tenant work.
He set up a new Newcastle commercial property office for Clark Scott-Harden in 2002 and since 2005 was a Director at Stanton Mortimer, responsible for a wide range of commercial property services, including property management, sales and lettings, landlord & tenant work including acting as an Expert Witness and the sale and acquisition of commercial property investments.

Ed joined the company in 2003 and has worked his way up to become a Director based in the Sedgefield office. Ed is a former CAAV Chairman and is currently the Chairman of the Northumbria and Cumbria Branch.
Ed advises clients on the full spectrum of rural property related matters, and has specific expertise in the following sectors: renewables, valuation and expert witness, utilities and Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO), and strategic planning and development.
He has also recently become an Agent for the AMC. He comes from a North East farming family where he retains an active interest and involvement. Outside of work, Ed enjoys a number of pursuits including skiing, fishing, mountain biking and squash.

Tom joined the company in 2014 as a Partner in the Alnwick office. Since qualifying as a Rural Chartered Surveyor he has worked in the North of England and Scotland, specialising in the acquisition and sale of rural property.
Tom also has considerable experience in tenancy matter on both sides of the Border, having acted extensively across the whole of Scotland on a wide range of issues such as rent reviews, tenancy surrenders and dilapidations claims. He is an approved agent for the Scottish Tenant Farmers Association as well as an approved AMC Valuer and RICS approved valuer under the Valuer Registration Scheme (VRS) which approves valuations for security, probate and tax planning purposes. Also a respected auctioneer, he has undertaken a number of dispersal sales on farming enterprises from hill sheep to large scale arable equipment and is listed on the Defra livestock valuation panel.
Brought up on the family farm in Northumberland, he subsequently moved to the Scottish Borders before returning to live in North Northumberland. A former amateur jockey, he was Northern Area Point-to-Point Champion in 2005 and is currently Clerk of the Course at Alnwick Point-to- Point course.
Tom is an AMC agent and valuer.

James has been with YoungsRPS since January 2008 after graduating from Newcastle University.
Initially based in Hexham, he transferred to the Sedgefield office in order to be closer to the family farm. The son of a Yorkshire farmer, he maintains an involvement in the running of the family business and is part of the YoungsRPS team spearheading a move into his home county of Yorkshire.

Paul has over 14 years post qualification experience as a Commercial Property Surveyor and joined YoungsRPS from Stanton Mortimer when the two firms merged in 2017. He has experience in working in both private practice and in local government.
Paul is an experienced commercial property surveyor dealing with property management, sales and lettings, lease renewals and rent reviews across a wide range of property types including retail, industrial and office property.
He also advises on the sale and acquisition of property investments and residential development land and carries out property valuations for a number of SIPPs and private individuals. His property management instructions are predominantly within the North East and North Yorkshire however he also manages commercial property investments throughout the UK.
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Surveying (PG.Dip), Honours Degree in Countryside Management (BSc Hons), RICS Registered Valuer.
Paul has over 12 years experience as a Rural Surveyor and joined YoungsRPS from Stanton Mortimer when the two firms merged in 2017.
He is one of the firm’s principal estate/property managers looking after estates from Northumberland to Berkshire and from North Wales to Lincolnshire.
Paul was born and raised in North Yorkshire where he continues to live and he has been based in the county since starting his career. His specific areas of expertise include property management including repairs and maintenance; the sale and letting of agricultural and residential property; the registration of land and rights with the Land Registry; planning and development work including the promotion of land for development and the conversion of barns to alternative uses; compensation and compulsory purchase work including flood defence schemes; and landlord and tenant matters including tenancy successions.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys hill walking, road and mountain biking and annual ski trips.

Joanne graduated from Reading University in 2012 and then worked for a national firm of surveyors before moving to the company in 2014. Joanne was born and brought up in the North East on a farm near Sedgefield.
She is a keen runner and enjoys skiing in her spare time as well as spending time helping on the family farm.

Mike was originally a diary farmer before becoming a Farm Business Consultant.
He is a board member of the Scottish Tenant Farmers Association and has been since 2010. He has gained experience working on behalf of the Scottish Government Farm Advisory Scheme around Scotland, promoting the Tenant Improvement’s Amnesty and other aspects of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016.
Mike has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of environmental schemes, grant applications and liaising with SGRPID and SEPA on behalf of farmers.
He is working towards sitting his CAAV (Central Association of Agricultural Valuers) exams and is currently a probationary member.
Away from the office, he enjoys shooting and working his dogs. Mike also coaches mini rugby for Dumfries Saints Rugby Club (Under 10’s).

Harry joined YoungsRPS in 2013 coming straight from a six year stint working on the family farm at Langley near Haydon Bridge. Prior to this Harry completed his Master’s degree in Politics, graduating from Edinburgh University in 2007.
While working at YoungsRPS Harry has completed a post graduate Master’s degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams before qualifying as a Rural Chartered Surveyor in April 2016.
In his spare time Harry manages and runs his own farm. The farm is an upland livestock farm and Harry has a particular interest in breeding sheep. As hobbies Harry enjoys all sports such as rugby and horse racing and is keen on all field sports. He is married to a farmer’s daughter and they have a young daughter, both of whom he enjoys spending time with when it is available!

James has been with the company since 2009 and has achieved both MRICS and FAAV qualifications since joining. During this time he has largely been involved with the management, sale and acquisition of rural property.
As well as rural practice, James deals with the management and letting of commercial property in and around Hexham, together with sale and acquisition of commercial property.
Brought up on a mixed family farm in the Yorkshire Wolds, he has a passion for the countryside and enjoys walking, field sports, horse racing and working and training his team of Labradors and Cocker Spaniels.

Kirsty has worked at YoungsRPS since summer 2012. Northumberland born and bred, Kirsty was brought up on the family farm near Ponteland therefore being exposed to the trials and tribulations of agriculture.
Having worked at Northumberland Estates during her training before moving to a local firm of chartered surveyors, she gained valuable experience in all aspects of rural surveying including renewables.

Emma is a farmer's daughter and grew up on a farm at Alnmouth near Alnwick in Northumberland. She spent her placement year working on the Duke of Buccleuch's Langholm Estate, Dumfriesshire and following university spent several months at Natural England in Newcastle before joining YoungsRPS in February 2010. She is married to a local farmer and helps out on the farm in her spare time.
Emma’s areas of particular expertise include land and estate management, farm sales and purchases, valuations, agricultural grants and subsidies, property management and lettings, compulsory purchase and utilities.
Emma is a keen sportswoman and enjoys playing hockey and watching rugby at weekends. She also loves to explore Northumberland on long walks with her rabble of dogs.

Experienced planning consultant Richard is based in the Hexham office. He brings a wealth of planning experience and knowledge with a strength in promoting strategic land for residential and mixed use developments – taking a project through the planning system from inception up to sale.
Away from the office, Richard and his wife are self-confessed foodies and enjoy the region’s many restaurants and food markets.
Their weekends are often spent with their dog Harris and Richard enjoys running, hiking and playing sports – particularly football.

Helen joined YoungsRPS in 2014 after completing an MSc at Harper Adams and has since achieved her MRICS and FAAV qualifications.
She comes from a Northumberland farming family and grew up on a dairy holding near Wylam. She is a keen equestrian and hopes to spend more of her leisure time with her horses now she is living back in Northumberland.
Graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2017 with a BSc in Geography. Currently studying a MProf in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams part time.
Grew up on her family farm near Sedgefield and enjoy helping out when she has time. Other interests include running and hockey and just generally being outdoors and active!
Kim is a qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). She is an experienced estate agent having worked for YoungsRPS for over 10 years, starting out as a sales negotiator before progressing to valuer/manager within our Hexham office.
During her time at YoungsRPS Kim has worked on site in New Build sales and her experience and knowledge in this field has been recognised and valued by a number of regional housebuilders.
Kim has an excellent knowledge of the Hexham and Tyne Valley area where she has practiced for much of her career and as a result has a good working relationship with other professionals within the locality.
Kim grew up in the Yorkshire area before moving to Northumberland as a teenager, outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, interior design and country walks.

I am well experienced in the residential sector having worked in the Northallerton office for over 23 years. My current role is varied and includes both valuation and negotiation for Residential Sales and Lettings in this busy market town. Outside work, I enjoy champagne, exploring the great outdoors either on foot or bike, paddle boarding and running.
Sarah has been with YoungsRPS since 2012 coming from a retail and customer service background, she is part of the estate agency team at our Hexham office and deals with all aspects of estate agency including sales, lettings and new build.
In 2015, Sarah passed her NFOPP Level 3 exam in sale of residential property and became a member of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Sarah has lived in Northumberland her whole life having been brought up in a North Tyne village, her interests outside of work include socialising and fitness.
Lauren joined the team at YoungsRPS in 2012. Having worked at a local firm of estate agents from leaving school, she has worked in the local property market throughout both the highs and lows.
She deals with all aspects of estate agency and specialises in negotiating sales and the subsequent management of any agreed deals, liaising with the various legal teams seeing sales through to completion.
Lauren is a qualified member of National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) having passed her NFOPP Level 3 exam of sale in residential property in 2015. She was born and brought up in Northumberland and her interests outside work include swimming, socialising and interior design.
Amanda worked as an offshore surveyor for four years after leaving university then started at YoungsRPS in August 2016 following a change in career.
She is now working in estate agency and doing her APC. Brought up in Yorkshire on a farm, Amanda’s interests include skiing and running.

Emily started her working life in estate agency and returned to the industry over two years ago as a sales negotiator for YoungsRPS in Northallerton where she works closely with the property vendors, buyers, solicitors and other parties in the sales chain. She is an Associate Member of the Guild of Professional Estate Agents. Away from work Emily can usually be found doing something active whether it’s hanging from a trapeze or taking a fitness class.
Teresa joined YoungsRPS in November 2016 with 25 years of Customer Service experience and now specialises in the management of our residential lettings department. She has lived in Northumberland all of her life and is very passionate about the area. Teresa enjoys socialising, fitness and travelling outside of work hours.
