YoungsRPS, which offers a wide range of management and professional services in land, housing and commercial properties, has announced that estate agent Kim Harrison has been promoted to an Associate. Appointing Kim to this newly created career level within the company recognises her significant contribution to the expanding estate agency side of the business.
The introduction of an Associate as part of its management team, is the latest development for YoungsRPS, which has expanded its offices in Northumberland and Yorkshire over the last 12 months to meet the growing demand for its services.
Kim, who has worked for YoungsRPS for over 15 years, is a highly experienced and qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). She started her career within the industry as a Sales Negotiator, before progressing to Valuer/Manager at the YoungsRPS office in Hexham. Since Kim joined YoungsRPS, she has strengthened the company’s presence in the North East property market, been instrumental in raising the profile of the business, and has increased the number of sales and turnover, year-on-year.
She has an excellent understanding of both the industry and the property market in the Hexham and Tyne Valley area where she has practised for much of her career. During her time at YoungsRPS, she has also worked on-site in new-build sales, and her knowledge of this sector is valued by regional housebuilders.
Commenting, Robbie Hutchinson, YoungsRPS Managing Director, said:
“As well as making new appointments, it is very important that we recognise and reward the efforts of loyal staff that have made the business a success. So, I am absolutely delighted that Kim has been appointed as the company’s first Associate and it is certainly very well deserved.”
“Kim is winning a lot of business and is a key employee and member of staff. The performance of the Hexham agency team under Kim’s leadership has been outstanding and this promotion acknowledges the hard work and dedication that she has given.”
“We have recently made a decision, at Board level, to put in place incentives to ensure staff know that there is a measured approach to developing their career with us, and a path to Directorship. Throughout their career, clear targets will be set, such as, contribution to the company, professional compliance, upholding ethical standards, knowledge, and, of course, measuring the levels of business they bring in.”
As an Associate, reporting to the Board, Kim also takes on the responsibility for the management of the estate agency side of the business company-wide. Going forward, her skills and understanding of the sector will be integral in further developing and helping this area of the business to continue to grow and evolve.
Kim adds: “I am thrilled to accept the role as Associate and I would like to thank the Directors for their support and recognition. YoungsRPS is highly respected with an exceptional reputation, and I am proud of the quality of our service, which is recognised by our clients.”
“My aim is to continue developing the services we offer and to further strengthen our position within the areas we operate. I am looking forward to working with the teams in all of our estate agency divisions in a supportive role, helping them to implement best practice, to expand and evolve.”
