COVID-19: Update

Thu 19 March 2020

COVID-19 is undoubtedly causing disruption to our lives in every way; we are receiving guidance daily from the government, and while measures may seem extreme, it is imperative that we all take heed. I am writing to you to reassure you that you are incredibly important to us, and we can, and will, do everything we can to support you. We are continually adapting the way we work so that we can deliver our promises.

Our staff are also incredibly important to us, and their health and safety is paramount. We are following the government guidance and have issued strict instructions to all employees regarding their own health and safety, as well as yours.

Our team have the resources and technology they require to work from home without any interruption to the offering and delivery of our services. Following government guidance, a proportion of our team are now working remotely until advised otherwise. As I said, we are very fortunate to be in a position where we can harness modern technology and can implement our remote working strategy without any disruption.

As well as our existing IT infrastructure, we have installed further technology and made available additional resources to allow you to remain in contact without compromising your safety and in a way in which you feel most comfortable. Any meetings that have been scheduled with clients and other professionals can be facilitated through video messaging (including Skype, Microsoft Teams and Facetime) as well as by telephone.

Our offices are still open and are manned by key members of our Estate Agency and support teams.

We have been advised to avoid face to face appointments, if these appointments become unavoidable in our promise to deliver work, or in the circumstance that you visit any of our offices, we ask you and our team to follow the below guidelines:

  • Advise of any travel, feelings of sickness or contact any suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case(s);
  • Abide by the ‘safe’ distance rule of 2 metres;
  • Wash your hands before and after the meeting;
  • And, keep touching of objects/papers to an absolute minimum.
We can assure you that all non-essential appointments have been cancelled and that our team are following social guidelines meticulously in their personal lives.

Whilst globally we are facing extreme circumstances, we can assure you that at youngsRPS it is open for business as usual, albeit with extraordinary measures as first and foremost, our duty of care to you and our staff is our priority.

We wish you well.
