COVID-19: Government Support for Businesses

Following the announcement of another national lockdown, Government have confirmed that there will be further grants available for businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors that have been forced to close.
The grants are to be based on the premises Rateable Value, as follows:
| Rateable Value | Grant |
| Less than £15,000 | £4,000 |
| Between £15,001 - £51,000 | £6,000 |
| Above £51,001 | £9,000 |
Alongside this, the Government has also provided £594 million to local authorities as discretionary funding. This additional grant should aid small businesses meet their rental and utility payments.
